Overview of Services
We are delighted to offer the following services:
diagnostic tests
ECG
(Electrocardiogram)
A painless test during which electrodes are placed on the chest to monitor
and record the electrical impulses that cause the heart to beat. By
examining the pattern of impulses, a doctor can diagnose rhythm abnormalities
such as atrial fibrillation or other heart problems.
ETT
(Exercise Treadmill Test)
A treadmill cardiac stress test is a procedure used to diagnose coronary
artery disease (also called heart disease) or measure a person's functional
status. The treadmill test involves walking on a exercise treadmill
while being hooked up to an EKG and vital sign monitoring.
Echo
Doppler
An imaging method in which high-frequency sound waves are used to outline
a part of the body. The sound wave echoes are picked up and displayed
on a television screen. Also called ultrasonography.
24-hour
Holter Monitor
A portable EKG machine that is worn during the course of daily activities
as it continuously records the electrical activity of the heart to detect
abnormalities, such as irregular, fast or slow heart rhythms.
Coronary
Angiogram
Peripheral
Angiogram
Renal
Angiogram
Angiography or arteriography is a medical imaging technique in which
an X-ray picture is taken to visualize the inner opening of blood filled
structures, including arteries, veins and the heart chambers. The X-ray
film or image of the blood vessels is called an angiograph, or more
commonly, an angiogram.
